It’s a Nice Day for a White Wedding

4.15.2011

The only wedding planning that I’m more obsessed with than Kate Middleton and Prince William’s is my own. Last night I managed to spot a certain dress shop from a mile away, so Mom, Dad, and I decided to stop and have a gander before dinner; ya know, just a five minute trip to take a peek at what they had to offer. Not only did I not expect to have my own personal fashion show, me being the super short model, but I REALLY did not expect to start bawling over the sixth dress I tried on. I took one look in the mirror and informed my super awesome “assistant” that that was the dress I wanted. After a bit more doting, a little booty shaking to make sure it was dance appropriate, some paperwork, and measuring, that sucker was ordered for me in my size and should be here in a little over a month. :D It was so much fun to go in and have that “wedding dress experience” and try on all of these beautiful designs. Hopefully Caleb gets all light-headed when he sees how hot I’m going to look. ;] Yayyy, confidence!

This means that I have two of the biggest obstacles out of the way. Hopefully everyone got their save the dates and such, as well. I’m so excited. I can’t wait for Caleb to be home and to move to Savannah to be with him. Hopefully school will be out of the way by then; I’m doing my best.

Sooo, short update today.

SOOOOO KILT. I just love the way you write.
A woman became a bride in the moment she found her wedding gown!
All this dres experience is like a passage ritual that all the girls need to pas through. Luckily, your one was the number six, I have a close friend that keep looking for her dress and her wedding is in two months!!
Congrats about the wedding, my best wishes for you two!
