Let me just start this off by saying that I am dangerously, and I mean DANGEROUSLY close to going upstairs, knocking on my neighbor’s door, and as soon as he opens it, running in and obliterating his stupid, STUPID stereo! I can’t even hear music; all I hear is thump, thump, thump every second from the bass. This will continue to go on for hours because our neighbors are obnoxious, inconsiderate people. I should expect this out of a college campus, but don’t they ever do homework? I mean, seriously; I feel like I’m living in The Tell-Tale Heart with all of this thumping in the walls.
With that being said, I hope the beginning of everyone’s week is going well. It was a pretty chilly day here in Columbus, but it appears that college chicks will use just about any excuse (this case being that it was not snowing) to bust out their Daisy Dukes and flip flops. I’m either one of the only sane women on campus, or I am the most abnormal weirdo on campus because I’m constantly pulling my houndstooth jacket tighter around my body because I freeze when it’s 50 degrees, windy, and rainy. Even when I try to be brave and wear a fun dress, I spend the entire day regretting the decision. If it’s not a comfy eighty degrees outside, I’m not happy. This is one of the main reasons why I wish my husband didn’t adore Ohio so much.
On a brighter note, I actually made dinner for myself tonight. I didn’t have a Soup at Hand or a quick salad, but I cooked. Please hold your applause. I had BBQ chicken, a baked potato, spinach, and I made some pasta salad, but my belly was too full after everything else to indulge. Therefore, there’s a giant bowl of it chilling in my refrigerator for a midnight snack-a-roo.
Anyway, I know I’ve been slacking on my updates lately, but school owns my life. I’ll try and write something more exciting next time I update.
