We’re a match made in heaven, I tell ya.
I had no class OR work today, and I’ve actually had a pretty productive day. I had an early doctor’s appointment, canceled the photographer and cupcakes for Caleb’s and my reception, mailed out all of my thank-you notes from the bridal shower, and rescheduled my fall classes. Go, me! I’m sorry to all of my friends and family who have been patiently awaiting the courtesy of a thank-you note from me. I’m kind of a procrastinator, but you should all receive yours within the next day or two. Also, I’m making one final announcement that our reception IS BEING RESCHEDULED! I mailed out notices to everyone, but I suppose it won’t hurt anything to put a little tid-bit on here as well. Caleb is working his little booty off at Ranger School, so he’ll be gone September 23, when we were going to hold our belated celebration. So now I have a lonely bridal gown hanging in my closet that’s just waiting to be shown some love. We’ll be sure to let you all know when we get our hot mess of a life under control! Ha!
While going through and writing my thank-you notes to everyone, I had a little too much fun envisioning what sorts of stews I’m going to make in the Crock-Pot, the kinds of cupcakes I’m going to try from my cupcake cookbook, and where I’m going to set up our new candles and hang our picture frames! I have an entire plan going on in my mind, and I soooo can’t wait until it’s a reality. Those of you who have your loved ones with you all the time, please don’t take that for granted. Know that every day with them is a blessing, so hug them often, be kind, and say ‘I love you,’ as much as you can. Words of wisdom from a lonely newlywed, just in case you were looking for some.
I’ll talk to you cutie-pa-tooties later!
xoxoxo
Ash
