This is my cozy sweater. Everyone has one, and in my case, I have two. Both of which are green, and both of which are super fuzzy. I’m like a real life Kermit THE frog. Yeah, you heard me. Anyway, these two particular sweaters of mine make me want to curl up in a little ball and cuddle with myself all day long. You may laugh, but this isn’t that far fetched. I haven’t had my cuddle partner present for about five months. Boo. A lonely wife equals a lonely life.
Alright, I can’t continue to write this post without addressing the elephant in the cyber room. *sigh* Here we go… Yesterday, I…made…a…spelling…error. It’s true. The English major who’s constantly running around with her imaginary red pen and correcting everyone’s grammatical errors isn’t perfect, after all. I know this may come as a shock to many of you, but alas, the truth is out. In my haste to post an update and get the heck out of this house yesterday, I managed to type “love at first site,” rather than “sight”. Imagine my disgust when I went back and read it after I got home from work. It was definitely one of those color-instantly-drained-from-my-face moments. Whoopsie!!! Yes. These are the things that keep me up at night. Pretty ridiculous, huh?
It is Chili Day at our house, and yes, the caps are necessary. It’s pretty much an undeclared holiday around here, so it must be treated as such. Our counter tops are littered with cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, spices, hot sauces, and the list goes on. We take our chili very seriously, and it’s usually accompanied by some sort of football game on the television, which I am rarely, if ever, paying any attention to. You guys can watch the Browns, and I’ll window shop at Mod Cloth on-line. Deal? Mk. The best part is that later, we’re going to my aunt and uncle’s house, so the sports fanatics can watch more football, and I can – what? You guessed it – eat more chili.

The coziness of this gorgeous Sunday is overwhelming! Mom even made hot apple cider this morning, which had me floating on clouds. Obviously, the way to this girl’s heart is through food and beverages, and that’s just on a normal day! I loathe the thought of future pregnant Ashley. I’m needy enough as it is having to consume a minimum of four cups of tea per day (two spoons of sugar, please, and a tad bit of milk or cream). Oh, I can just SEE it now. Enjoy your day, readers!
