I do not regret to tell you that this Tuesday, I have not even left the house. Last night, as I was watching the temperature drop, drop, then drop some more, I declared that I wasn’t going to go out today, if I could help it, and I have kept my word. I vegged out on the couch and caught up on the last four episodes of American Horror Story, and the only thing that I feel guilty about is that I haven’t done any reading yet. That’s next on the list, though. Tomorrow, I’m meeting my friend, Jackie, for dinner, then we’re going to watch the AHS finale on the big screen at Gateway. The theater shows new episodes every week for free, and that’s just about the best thing since sliced bread. I must admit that I’m still a little scatter-brained when it comes to this season. Perhaps tomorrow will tie everything together for me, but knowing AHS, I’ll probably stare at the screen with a glazed look on my face, ten minutes after it ends, not knowing what to think.
I’ve also been using this evening to scour the Internet for new blogs to read. I have three favorites, and they’re really the only ones that I check religiously. There are so many gorgeous sites, but not very many that I’m emotionally invested in. It’s a bit weird, isn’t it, that we can be so interested in the whereabouts of strangers? That’s something only fellow bloggers understand. I promise ya’ll that I’m not some crazy creeper. It’s just kind of cool to see glimpses into the lives of some of the most creative people online, especially those who can capture the simplest moments in life and turn them into something extravagant. They always inspire me to kick my booty into gear, especially when it’s a particularly hard day to blog. Ya know, one of those days that I spend wandering around the house, camera-in-hand, searching for something remotely artistic-looking worth posting on the blog. Catching up on some gorgeous posts helps tremendously. So anyway, I’m on the lookout for my next favorite writer, photographer, whatever, and if any of you have suggestions, be sure to send them along!
To my readers in the chilly states, stay warm, my darling friends! To everyone else, I’m super jealous that you’re somewhere warm and I am not.
xoxoxo
Ash
