I hope it’s apparent that I’ve been working my little bum off to update this blog of mine. It’s certainly a work in progress, but I’m really excited about how it’s starting to look. I would like a page that doesn’t resemble anyone else’s, so I’m designing the buttons, header, etc. myself. Having a space that inspires me, just to look at, will help me stay consistent with my posts. We all know that I tend to get lazy, every so often, but hopefully I can keep up this time around. I’ve been seriously bitten by the bug lately, and everywhere I look, I see a potential photo for a blog post. Of course, ya’ll don’t want to see or read about every tiny detail of my days, so I have to force myself to chill out, sometimes.

This evening I went to dinner with my mom and some of her friends from work. We had a really nice time. I ate way too much hand-breaded shrimp, but it was completely worth it and deeee-licious. Tonight, in particular, I need to keep myself occupied, so I was thrilled to get out of the house for awhile. My mind is in a million different places, at the moment, so as soon as I finish this post, I’m going to make some tea and get lost in a book. The army life is really taking its toll on me tonight, and I can feel myself turning into a hot, crazy mess with every passing second. Sometimes it just plain sucks that Caleb’s and my relationship requires us to be apart so much. It comes with the territory, though, and it’s not like I was clueless about the lifestyle when we got married. C’est la vie.

Anyway, I have a topic in mind for tomorrow’s post, and I’m really excited about putting it together. It will actually have a focus, rather than just a daily update of what’s going on on my end. I hope you all enjoy it! Let’s meet back here tomorrow, okay? Good night!
