These started out as outfit photos and quickly turned into a photo shoot with Capone. My sweet bully stole the show, but I thought I would list my ensemble items anyway, just for fun. This has pretty much been my go-to outfit lately: jeans, boots, and a sweater. It’s cozy, edgy, and no fuss. I love all of those things.
Yesterday was actually a pretty crazy day. I started it off with a seven mile run. I can’t even tell you how proud I am of myself. Back in April, I couldn’t complete an entire mile without stopping, and now I’m up to seven. My body is feeling great, and I love that I’m continuing to make progress.
After my run, I headed to Spanish class. For once, it was very calm. As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve really been struggling, so it was nice to have a class where I didn’t feel totally lost and helpless. AND our professor played some fun Latin music for us, so that’s just the icing on the cake, right there.
To finish off the afternoon, my sweet Heather and I got together for some baking, and we finally got to watch The Bling Ring! We intended to go to the theater to watch it, but it never came anywhere near us. Coppola’s newest film came out on Blu-Ray yesterday, so we just made a night in out of it. The Bling Ring was really everything that I hoped it would be. Coppola really can do no wrong, and watching this movie made me feel way better about my adolescent years. Heather even joked about showing it to her mom in a see, I wasn’t THAT bad sort of way. I mean, come on, who just breaks into someone’s home, like, a dozen times!? Sheesh.
So, we ate the mini pies that we baked and enjoyed some girl time before calling it a night. I am so excited for our next adventure that’s in the works, and I can’t wait to show you the photos when the day comes.
Until next time, readers!
